FOR electrical and mechanical contractors Redelec Limited, the last 12 months has seen them buck the economic trends - in a massively successful way.
The company, based on Warrington Business Park on Long Lane, is less than three years old but it set to announce a turnover of more than £1.3million soon.
That is a massive increase of more than £1million on 12 months ago and managing director and founder Antony (correct) Grace says the success is down to hard work.
“It is about getting out there and talking to people.
“We provide a really good service. We have not had to advertise so far and we have really succeeded through word of mouth.”
The company mainly works on commercial schemes, in offices, schools and councils. and has just secured a contract for work with Liverpool City Council for more than £100,000.
And they have travelled as far a field as Hull and Southend to complete project.
Run by Antony, aged 35 and from Chapleford, and commercial director John Bradley, the next year also promises to be exciting.
Antony said: “We have 11 jobs on the board here that need pricing up, some for £10,000 and some £500,000 or £600,000.
“We will get a good number of those so it is looking good. We work all hours to make the business as successful as possible.”
The business received the award from Clr Ian Marks, leader of Warrington Borough Council.
